Tiger Moth T7052 was built to contract 20916/39 by Morris Motors Ltd, at Cowley and was awaiting collection in December 1940. It was initially taken on charge soon after completion by 12 E.F.T.S. at Prestwick. On 22nd March 1941 12 E.F.T.S. disbanded and shortly after this aircraft appeared on charge with 20 E.F.T.S. at Yeadon. As a result of the damage sustained at Yeadon on 16th May 1941 minor Cat.A/FA damage was the probable assessment but nothing appears relating to this incident in the published history of the aircraft. It would have been repaired on site at Yeadon and remained with 20 E.F.T.S. until the unit disbanded on 9th January 1942. The aircraft next appears on charge with 15 E.F.T.S. at Kingstown and remained with them throughout the rest of the war. In late-1945 it was transferred to 22 S.F.T.S. at Calveley who formed on 22nd October 1945. The aircraft finally appears on charge with 7 F.T.S. at Cottesmore in 1948 before being converted to a Ground Instruction Airframe 6751M in February 1950.
