Tiger Moth T5534 at Forest Farm airfield.

On 8th April 1941 the 54 Operational Training Unit ORB briefly states that Tiger Moth T5534 overshot Forest Farm airfield and sustained severe damage. Exactly why 54 O.T.U., who were based at Church Fenton, were using Forest Farm (which was near Scorton) is not yet clear. Nor is it clear why this trainee night-fighter pilot was flying a Tiger Moth.
