Whitley T4284 at Linton on Ouse airfield.
During the evening of 14th April 1941 this 58 Squadron was flown on a local flying exercise. At 22.30hrs the aircraft undershot on landing at Linton on Ouse and received minor damage. The pilot had not appreciated the extent the aircraft was loosing height on the approach to land and this was not helped by the fact that the angle of glide indicator that would have given him some assistance had been damaged by Whitley Z6507 the previous day so was not in use.
