Whitley T4200 at Topcliffe airfield.
On 27th April 1941 this 77 Squadron was being taxied to a dispersal point at Topcliffe airfield and had reached there without incident. The crew attempted to turn the aircraft using the aircraft's controls rather than waiting for or letting ground crew do it. The aircraft struck a hedge and the elevator was slightly damaged.
