On 25th February 1941 this aircraft collided on the ground with Tiger Moth N6614 at Brough airfield slightly damaging both aircraft.
Pilot - LAC H V Clark RAFVR (1282901).
Tiger Moth R5033 was built to contract 20916/39 by The DeHavilland Aircraft Co. Ltd. at Hatfield and was awaiting collection in March 1940. A number
of the dates the aircraft was in and out of storage are not known but after construction and an initial period of MU storage the aircraft was taken
on charge by the PDU (Photographic Development Unit?) at Heston on an unknown date, the aircraft was operated out of Stradishall. It was slightly damaged on 7th October 1940 and was probably repaired on site but the damage does not appear in the published history. After another period of MU storage the aircraft was
later taken on charge by 4 EFTS at Brough again on an unknown date. On 25th February 1941 it suffered minor Cat.A/FA damage at Brough as recorded above.
It was then repaired on site and continued to serve with 4 EFTS. No date is given when the aircraft was again placed into long term MU storage. It was
sold for scrap and struck off charge on 28th May 1950.
