Tiger Moth R4832 at Brough airfield.
On 26th February 1941 this aircraft was struck by Tiger Moth BB742 at Brough airfield slightly damaging both aircraft.

Tiger Moth R4832 was built to contract 20916/39 by The de Havilland Aircraft Co. Ltd. at Hatfield and was awaiting collection
in December 1939. It was initially taken on charge by 4 EFTS at Brough in early 1940 before transfer to 7 EFTS at Desford then
returning to 4 EFTS at Brough. As a result of the mishap at Brough recorded above very minor Cat.B/FA damage was recorded and it
was the transported by road to Taylorcraft Aeroplanes Ltd. at Rearsby for repair on 28th February 1941. On completion of repair it
was taken on charge by 13 EFTS at Peterborough but on 1st June 1941 this unit disbanded. The following day it was taken on charge by
21 EFTS at Booker where it served until 18th February 1942 when it was destroyed, with Cat.E/FA damage recorded, when the aircraft
stalled into the ground on approach to land at Booker.
