Two passengers - Names unknown.

Anson R3328 was built to contract B.12565/39 by A.V. Row Ltd. at Newton Heath and was awaiting collection in March 1940, it was taken on charge shortly afterwards by 612 Squadron based at Dyce and remained there until transfer to 2 (C)OTU at Catfoss shortly after the unit formed on 1st November 1940. It almost certainly sustained very minor damage as a result of the incident at Thornaby in January 1941. The damage is not listed in the aircraft's history given in the Air Britain serial history books but Cat.A/FA was probably the most severe it got. It must have been repaired on site and returned to the unit at Catfoss. On 8th July 1941 it was transferred to the newly formed 42 OTU at Andover. On 17th May 1943 it was transferred to the newly re-formed 7 AOS at Bishop's Court, the aircraft later served with 5 (P)AFU and 3 (O)AFU but no dates for these transfers are known. 3 (O)AFU disbanded on 1st December 1945 and all their aircraft were flown to MU storage for disposal. The aircraft was struck off charge on 26th July 1946.
