Spitfire P7288 at Leconfield airfield.
During the afternoon of 15th November 1941 this 610 Squadron aircraft was flown on a convoy patrol with three other aircraft and they took off from Leconfield airfield at 11.55hrs. On landing at Leconfield at 13.35hrs Spitfire P7288 ran off runway into soft ground and tipped onto it's nose.
