Hampden P2139 at Finningley airfield.
On 17th May 1941 this 25 Operational Training Unit aircraft was being flown on a training flight. At 00.25hrs the pilot came in to land at Finningley but undershot, the aircraft bounced then landed heavily causing the tail wheel to collapse. This was the pilot's second solo night flight in the Hampden type.
