Tiger Moth L6932 was built to contract 602398/37 by De Havilland Aircraft Ltd. at Hatfield and was flown to Scottish Aviation Ltd. at Prestwick in February 1937 where it later joined 12 E. & R.F.T.S. On 3rd September 1939 this unit was re-designated 12 E.F.T.S. and it remained there until they disbanded on 22nd March 1941. The aircraft was then transferred to 20 E.F.T.S. at Yeadon. As a result of the damage sustained on 11th June 1941 minor Cat.A/FA must have been the assessment but there is no record of this in the published Air Britain history of the aircraft. It would have been repaired on site and remained with 20 E.F.T.S. until they disbanded on 9th January 1942. The aircraft next appears on charge with 26 E.F.T.S. at Theale and finally with 25 (P)E.F.T.S. at Hucknall. This unit disbanded on 1sy November 1945 so the aircraft was placed in MU storage until being sold on 3rd March 1950. It does not appear on the UK civil register so the history after this date is unclear.
