Unidentified Tiger Moth at Brough airfield.
On 6th March 1941 the pilot of this aircraft was coming into land at Brough airfield following a training flight when it collided with Tiger Moth T5540, with the pilot of that aircraft also landing following a training flight. Both aircraft crashed and while the unidentified one received less serious damage and was repaired, T5540 was assessed on site and deemed beyond repair. Both pilots survived.
