Enemy action at Catfoss airfield; six unidentified Blenheims damaged.
On 2nd April 1941 at least six Blenheims were damaged in an attack on Catfoss airfield by the Luftwaffe, the identities of the aircraft damaged were not known when this webpage was
created. One enemy aircraft dropped around twelve bombs on the airfield with ten other bombs falling in the area around the site. A Wellington was also set on fire by gun-fire. No
casualties have been identified at the time of creating this webpage.
