The history of Proctor P6185 states that on 26th September 1940 it had a Cat.R damage assessment made against it. It was in the care of No.4 Group and based at Linton on Ouse at the time. Any incident or accident probably occurred there. Information is required.

Proctor P6185 was built to contract 975967/39 by Percival Aircraft Ltd. at Luton and was delivered to No.4 Group at Linton on Ouse on 31st May 1940. On 26th September 1940 it had a Cat.R/FA damage assessment made against it and on 3rd October 1940 it went by road to Percival Aircraft Ltd. at Luton for a repair in works. Once repaired on 7th December 1940 it went to 8 MU at Little Rissington and on 20th October 1941 it was taken on charge by No.2 Signals School at Yatebury. On 21st June 1943 a Cat.B assessment was made against it and it went to Shrager Brothers Ltd. at Old Warden for a repair in works. Once servicable on 15th September 1943 it was taken on charge by No.1 E.F.T.S. at Panshanger. On 23rd May 1944 another Cat.B assessment was recorded and it was again sent to a factory for a repair in works. On 1st August 1944 it was returned to No.1 E.F.T.S. On 31st October 1944 it went to 44 MU at Edzell. On 14th June 1946 it was purchased by Percival Aircraft Ltd. at Luton and it was registered on the civilian register as G-AHUX. It then went to several civilian owners in the UK until 1954 when it was sold to Australia where it was registered as VH-BGY. It went to several civilian owners in Auatralia until the registration was cancelled as destroyed on 21st December 1964.
