Tiger Moth N9383 at Brough airfield.
On 6th December 1940 this aircraft was damaged in the strong gales that battered Brough airfield. It was deemed too badly damaged to be repaired.

Tiger Moth N9383 was built to contract 778402/38 by The deHavilland Aircraft Co. Ltd and was awaiting collection in November 1939. After a period of MU storage
it was taken on charge by 4 EFTS on an unknown date in early 1940. Following the gale damage at Brough on 6th December 1940 it was assessed by 60 MU on 18th
December 1940 and was struck off charge as deemed beyond economic repair.
