Tiger Moth N9321 at Brough airfield.
On 6th December 1940 this aircraft was damaged in the strong gales that battered Brough airfield. It was deemed too badly damaged to be repaired.

Tiger Moth N9321 was built to contract 778402/38 by The deHavilland Aircraft Co. Ltd and was delivered to 10 MU at Hullavington for storage on 16th
October 1939. After nine months of storage it was taken on charge on 13th July 1940 by 4 EFTS at Brough. As a result of the wind damage on 6th December
1940 Cat.R damage was recorded after initial assessment. On 11th December 1940 it was transported by road to D.H.Ltd. at Hatfield for repair but on 12th
January 1941 it was re-assessed by D.H.Ltd. and re-Cat.W and struck off charge.
