Tiger Moth N6520 at Brough airfield.
On 6th December 1940 this aircraft sustained damage due to the strong winds that effected Brough airfield, after assessment it was deemed beyond repair.

Tiger Moth N6520 was built to contract 778402/38 by The de Havilland Aircraft Co.Ltd. at Hatfield and was awaiting collection in December 1938. After a period of
MU storage it was taken on charge by 11 E&RFTS at Perth (Scone) in early 1939. On 3rd September 1939 this unit was re-designated 11 EFTS. The aircraft transferred to
4 EFTS on an unknown date in 1940. After suffering the gale damage at Brough on 6th December 1940 it was inspected by 60 MU on 18th December 1940 and struck off charge
as deemed beyond economic repair.
