Lysander L4779 at Netherthorpe airfield.
On 29th June 1940 the main part of 613 Squadron moved from Odiham to Netherthorpe, this aircraft made a heavy tail-first landing at Netherthorpe airfield and owing to hitting a bump on the airfield the tail wheel collapsed. This was the pilot's first landing at this airfield, the bump was known about and removed soon after this incident.
