Hampden L4182 at Finningley airfield.
On 3rd September 1940 this 106 Squadron aircraft was flown on an evening cross country training flight. On the return to Finningley at 23.45hrs the aircraft overshot the flarepath, the pilot was forced to swing the aircraft to avoid a hedge but this caused the undercarriage to collapse.
