On 11th June 1940 a ferry pilot was flying this unidentified Hurricane from 10 M.U. at Brize Norton to join 249 Squadron at Leconfield. On landing at Leconfield the aircraft received damage. Whether the aircraft was then taken on charge by 249 Squadron is not yet known but I would doubt this. It has yet to identified.
