Hampden L4150 at Finningley airfield.
On 10th December 1939 this 106 Squadron aircraft was flown on a circuits and landing training exercise using Finningley airfield. On one of the landings the aircraft touched down and landed without incident but at the end of the landing run the undercarriage collapsed. The pilot had only one hour solo flying and a further hour dual flying a Hampden when this incident occurred.
