Fury K7280 at Catterick aerodrome.
On 6th May 1938 this 41 Squadron aeroplane took off from Catterick aerodrome so the pilot could undertake training in making simulated gunnery attacks on another aeroplane. On landing at Catterick the aeroplane begun to swing, in attempting to check the swing the pilot braked and this caused the aeroplane to tip onto it's nose.

Horace Overall was killed on 6th November 1939 when Spitfire K9846 of 41 Squadron stalled after take off and crashed into Catterick village. He is buried in Catterick Cemetery.
