Hawker Fury K8238 at Yeadon aerodrome.

On 5th June 1937 this Fury suffered from having the engine cut on take off at Yeadon aerodrome. The pilot made a forced lading but it came to rest upside down. The aircraft was on the books of the Central Flying School, based at Upavon, and why it was at Yeadon is not known. It appears to have been repaired on site at Yeadon and returned to the unit.
