Dickson primary glider on Baildon Moor.

The basic details of this incident appear in a club report submitted to Sailplane and Glider magazine. On Sunday, 28th May 1933 the Bradford and County Gliding Club ran a flying meeting at their flying site at Dobrudden Farm on Baildon Moor. The club's gliding instructor flew the club Dickson glider during the meeting and unfortunately landed in what was described as an awkward position on the hillside, minor damage to the glider resulted. Once repairs got underway it must have been more seriously damaged then first thought as it was still being rebuilt in mid-June 1933 with "further improvements" being made.
