This glider is believed to have been built by Segelflugzeugbau in Kassel, Germany and was delivered to the Huddersfield Gliding Club, who were using a site at Bradley Bar, on 13th November 1930. It first flew with the club on 30th November 1930. On 22nd March 1931 the Huddersfield Gliding Club moved to a site at the Flouch Inn, south of Huddersfield. During July 1932 the Huddersfield Gliding Club disbanded and the glider was offered for sale. In October 1932 it purchased by the Bradford and County Gliding Club but crashed on 6th November 1932. It was believed to have been repaired but no further information or the history thereafter is known.
