Reynard glider damaged near Gildersome.
Over the weekend of 29th / 30th November 1930 the Leeds Gliding Club held a flying meeting with the club appearing to have been using a site in the Gildersome area at that time. During the morning of Sunday, 30th November 1930 their Reynard II glider was flown successfully, glided for around 500 yards but then struck a hedge. Minor damage resulted.
