Glider damaged at Weeton.
The Leeds and Harrogate Aircraft Clubs both took their gliders to a site at Weeton on Sunday, 28th December 1930 for members to gain experience flying in a strong wind. Several successful flights were made but both gliders were damaged towards the end of the day. Repairs were expected to take less than a week to make and a gliding meeting was planned for the following weekend.
