Sopwith T.1 Cuckoo N6972 at Doncaster aerodrome.
On 12th September 1918 this aircraft was being flown on a delivery flight from No.9 Aircraft Acceptance Park at Newcastle to the Development Squadron at Gosport when made the pilot made a forced landing at Doncaster and it sustained damage. Exactly what happened and what was damaged is not known. The aircraft was repaired on site and it reached Gosport on 26th September 1918.
