S.E.5a E5821 near Morley.

Little information is known about this incident. This photograph appears to show S.E.5a E5821 in a badly damaged state and was given to historian Nick Roberts by Morley resident Frank Turner. The incident is believed to have occurred near Morley but the date of the incident is not known. It appears to show the aeroplane completely destroyed, upside down. E5821 is quoted as being delivered to No.38 Training Depot Station, based at Tadcaster, on 13th October 1918 so clearly happened after this date. It disbanded in December 1919.
