S.E.5a D3943 (possibly) damaged at Marske aerodrome.
Very little is known about a possible flying accident involving this aeroplane. Suggested as being during 1918 and while in the care of No.2 Flying School the undercarriage collapsed on landing, probably at Marske where the unit was based. No.2 Flying School opened at Marske on 29th May 1918 and disbanded in November 1919. Presumbly someone who claimed the accident occurred during 1918 had some information telling them this. I haven't. This may be the same incident as the one involving SE5a D399 that is also a mystery.
Pilot - Name unknown.
