Sopwith 1F1 Camel C8302 at Beverley aerodrome.

On 16th July 1918 this No.72 Training Squadron aeroplane landed at Beverley aerodrome and the pilot appears to have run through shutdown checks but neglected to check the engine was switched off after it stopped. At 12.30hrs a rigger swung the propeller and the engine restarted, the propeller swung around and struck him causing serious injuries.
