Airco DH.6 C732x near Catterick aerodrome.
On an unknown date believed to have been during May 1918 a No.52 (Training) Squadron aeroplane crashed and came to rest in a tree close to Catterick aerodrome. The photograph above shows it in the tree. The aeroplane's serial is not C732 as the photograph appears to show (which was an Avro 504) but must be between C7320 and C7329.
