On an unknown date, but after 10th July 1918, this aeroplane force landed on the beach at Marske after suffering engine failure. The photograph above shows the aeroplane on the beach after the tide came it and flooded it. It appears to have been under the care of the Special Duties Flight, based at Tynemouth.
