Airco DH.6 B2717 at Catterick aerodrome.
During the morning of 13th June 1918 the pilot of this 127 Squadron aeroplane attempted to climb too quickly on take off at Catterick aerodrome, stalled and collided with a hanger. A photograph of the crashed aeroplane was published in Aeroplane Magazine, April 1987 but I have not yet obtained it. 127 Squadron disbanded two weeks later.
