Unidentified Maurice Farman S.11 Shorthorn force landing somewhere.

On 21st April 1918 the pilot of this No.72 Training Squadron aeroplane was instructed to fly from from Beverley aerodrome to Tadcaster aerodrome. He made a forced landing at Hall's Farm. Which Hall's or Hall Farm is not known. There are many that it could have been anywhere between Beverley and Tadcaster. Hall Farm, Wilberfoss is a possibility, as is North and South Duffield, or Tadcaster. Or even Halls is near Copmanthorpe. The pilot was killed three days later when Sopwith Camel D9537 crashed near Beverley.

Pilot - Sgt Linden Richardson RAF.
