Sopwith Baby N1411 in Hornsea area.
This aeroplane was a floatplane variant of the Sopwith Baby and was based on RNAS Hornsea Mere. Stated by others, an incident occurred on 29th October 1917 that damaged the aeroplane, possibly on RNAS Hornsea Mere where it was based, or near Hornsea. The aeroplane sustained damage that saw it deleted. I have not located any information myself that proves or disproves the occurance and have created this webpage until I find additional information.
