On 7th January 1917 this RNAS Flying School aeroplane was damaged in some form of accident at Redcar aerodrome.
Pilot - Name unknown.
Avro 504 2933 was built by S.E. Saunders Ltd for the RFC from whom it was transferred, as a dual control trainer,
to the RNAS Redcar Flying School on 11th May 1916. Following this accident at Redcar on 7th January 1917 it was
repaired and returned to service. It then suffering another accident on 21st July 1917 after which it was again repaired.
It then suffered a more serious accident on 6th October 1917 and was deleted from stock on 26th January 1918 deemed beyond
economic repair.
