Unidentified "B.E.2c" (possibly) in the York area.
On Page 59 of Brian Rapier's book "White Rose Base" he shows a photograph what he claimed to be "a very crashed B.E.2c from Murton circa 1916" showing the aeroplane as totally destroyed in a field, possibly a 76 Squadron aeroplane. It may relate to B.E.2e 6291, of 76 Squadron that crashed near Crockey Hill on 16th November 1917 that killed in the pilot. I have included this as a seperate webpage until information is found to prove or disprove it as being a seperate incident.
Pilot - Name unknown.
