On 17th January 1916 this RNAS Flying School aeroplane was damaged in a landing accident at Redcar aerodrome and was badly damaged.

Voisin Type III 8507 was delivered to CSD White City from the manufactures Aeroplanes Voisin based at Issy le Moulineaux before being sent to RNAS Redcar for erection on 11th November 1915. It was tested and accepted at Redcar on 19th November 1915 where it joined the RNAS Flying School. Following this accident at Redcar on 17th January 1916 it was assessed and deemed beyond economic repair. It was deleted from stock on 3rd February 1916.
