RAF F.E.2b 4976 at Redcar aerodrome.
On 27th December 1916 this A-Flight, No.36 Home Defence Squadron, based in the Newcastle area, was damaged while taking off accident at Redcar aerodrome. No.36 Home Defence Squadron had A-Flight based at Seaton Carew with other flights at Hylton and Ashington aerodromes.
