On 5th February 1916 this aeroplane was damaged following a landing at Redcar aerodrome during a flight with the RNAS Home Defence Flight based there. The damage sustained was enough for it not to be considered for repair.

Bleriot 3230 was built by Bleriot, France and was shipped to the UK. It arrived at RNAS Redcar on 7th August 1915 and was erected. As a result of the mishap at Redcar on 5th February 1916 it was deleted as "completely wrecked" on 1st March 1916.
