Unidentified Slingsby T-7 Kirby Cadet glider at Sutton Bank.

During the last week of March 1938 the Yorkshire Gliding Club ran a gliding meeting at their Sutton Bank site. During the event a Kirby Cadet was damaged on landing. Repairs were nearly complete by 24th April 1938 (as reported in a later edition of Sailplane and Glider magazine. The Yorkshire Gliding Club had Cadets BGA.246, BGA.272 and BGA.294 on their books by March 1938, it was probably one of these three that was damaged in this incident.
