Unidentified Slingsby T.3 nacelled Dagling glider at Sutton Bank gliding site.
Between 1st and 14th August 1937 the Yorkshire Gliding Club ran their annual instruction camp at Sutton Bank which allowed for novice glider pilots to come for the duration and learn to fly, leaving with their gliding certificates. During landing following a flight on Wednesday, 4th August 1937 the nacelled Dagling narrowly missed the club's hanger roof but collided with the windsock causing minor damage. This glider was almost certainly the same one that had been slightly damaged two days earlier at Sutton Bank and had been swiftly repaired. At the time the Yorkshire Gliding Club had two T.3 Primary gliders; BGA.234 that was received in October 1935 and BGA.313 that was received in July 1937.
