Believed to have been on Friday, 3rd August 1928 this aircraft was in the process of landing at Sutton Bank when the bracing cables across the aeroplane broke. On landing the undercarriage collapsed and the propeller were damaged. The identity of the aircraft is not yet known. The incident is mentioned in a report within Flight Magazine by the Yorkshire Aeroplane Club as being one of their aircraft but does not record the aircraft type.
