On or around 24th July 1933 the skid of this glider was damaged in an accident at Sutton Bank. Nothing more about the incident is currently known. Vague information on Page 184 (16) of Sailplane and Gliding magazine.
The following day newspapers record that a new instrument for registering the rise and fall of gliders in flight was tested at Sutton Bank with Mr R G Robertson serving as one of the test pilots, this mishap the day earlier may well be related to the tests. The glider may have been Crested Wren BGA.178 but I have not located any definite proof of this.
Pilot - Mr Robertson. (Probably Mr R G Robertson, of London Gliding Club).
