On Sunday, 21st February 1937 members of the Yorkshire Gliding Club carried out gliding from the Sutton Bank gliding site. This Falcon I glider was flown for a total of just less that 2.45 hours on this day. On what became the final landing the pilot misjudged the approach and it cartwheeled, coming to rest on its back.
