Glasflugel 604 BGA.2585 at Sutton Bank.

On 28th July 1991 this glider was flown on a competition flight. While coming in to land at Sutton Bank on completion of the flight the glider had insufficient height to fly a circuit to land into the wind so the pilot was forced to make a heavy downwind landing which ended in a ground loop.

Pilot - Name unknown.

This glider was registered to F.K.Russell, of Dunstable, in the 1986-87 Yearbook. Whether they still owned it five years later is not known.
