On 2nd October 2006 this glider was in collision with another glider BGA.3752 near the Yorkshire Gliding Club site at Sutton Bank, the pilot of this glider BGA-2093 was able to bale out and parachuted to safety, the pilot of the other glider sadly did not get clear of the falling aircraft and was sadly killed when it crashed into a field near the bottom of Sutton Bank.
