Schleicher ASK-13 BGA.1416 at Carlton Moor.
At 17.00hrs on 5th April 1985 this glider was being flown by a pupil around the area of Carlton Moor gliding site. The pupil made a heavy landing that caused a ground loop and the glider suffered a damaged port wing trailing edge. It was suggested that the instructor should have taken control to prevent the heavy landing. In the 1984-85 British Soaring Handbook this glider is listed as registered to J.V.Eden, who kept it at Sutton Bank.
