Unidentified Schleicher ASK-21 glider damaged in the air, landed at Sutton Bank.
At 14.30hrs on 13th August 1983 the rear canopy of this glider blew open on an aero-tow launch at Sutton Bank causing minor damage. It was found that the canopy was not locked and this had gone un-noticed during pre-flight checks. The identity of the glider is not yet known.
