Sgt Angus John MacDonell RCAF (R/283114).

Angus MacDonell was born on 15th January 1925 and was the son of Angus Alexander and Mary Ann (nee McDonald) MacDonell. The family lived on a large farm in Green Valley, Ontario, Canada. He was killed on his twentieth birthday. One of his brothers, Wallace MacDonell, served in the RCAF as a member of ground crew. Angus MacDonell was the Mid Upper Gunner in Frank Mooney's crew and on Halifax LK878 when it crashed near Felixkirk.

Sgt MacDonell was twenty years old and was buried at Harrogate Stonefall Cemetery with his crew on 20th January 1945.
